The main difference
between a complete and an incomplete Jinaayaat
is
related to the period of time during which such an action takes place in
everyday life, e.g. a topee, (head-gear), is normally worn from the time one gets ready in the
morning till the
time
one goes to sleep, a period of approximately 12-18
hours.
If the Muhrim wears
such a head-gear for a period in excess of half of this "normal" time, then the
Jinaayaat
is complete, otherwise it is
incomplete.
Similarly, the above
applies
only to men for wearing stitched garments, and
socks, (or footwear), covering the
"shoe-lace" area.
If worn for more than half of the "normal" time, then the Jinaayaat is
complete; otherwise it is termed incomplete.
The same will also apply
to the
use of Henna and Kohl (Surma),
wearing clothing on which aromatic substances have been applied, and
for covering
the head or face with a cloth. If used, worn, or
covered for more than half
the "normal" time, then the Jinaayaat is
complete; otherwise it is
incomplete.
